Brooklyn Nets Purchase D-League Team
The NBA and Brooklyn Nets announced today that Brooklyn as purchased a new NBA D-League team that will debut next season. Brooklyn becomes the 12th team to fully operate a D-League franchise.
The new team will be called the Long Island Nets who will play one season at Barclays Center and then move to the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
